The 3rd branch of 29 Pub has two entrances
There doesn't seem to be distinction between the front and back gates.
I went in through the entrace shown above,
but others came in from different places.
 
From the moment you enter, the words "29PUB" and
a small chandelier give a luxurious feeling

When you enter, there is such a suit decoration,
reminiscent of Kingsman. It looks cool for no reason.

The 3rd branch has a Macau concept, and there are up to 5 branches in 29 Pub:

1st Branch - Italian Vintage
2nd Branch - British Classic
3rd Branch - Macau Modern
4th Branch - Tokyo Elegant
5th Branch - German Orthodox

Since it's a themed pub,
it seems like it would be nice to try various branches.

 

 
The interior was beautiful.
It seemed to capture a foreign atmosphere exceptionally well.
I found the decor, with its subdued yet bright ambiance created by strategic lighting and other conceptual efforts, to be fascinating.

 

The space is quite expansive, divided into two sections with openstyle tables and ample seating along the walls.
Despite the somewhat dim lighting, the interior of the bar was unexpectedly bright
and I particularly appreciated the impressive lighting fixtures, especially near the bar tables.

 

The interior of the bar is subtly bright, which I quite liked, considering I tend to dislike overly dark spaces. Although the overhead lighting is good, the lighting around the bar tables left a lasting impression.

With such a spacious area, it would be great for hosting parties. They also mentioned that they offer venue rentals, so those interested might want to inquire. If you make reservations for birthdays or special occasions, they even provide special cocktails.
 

And here is the highly anticipated bar table. Various types of alcohol are displayed, and seeing such a wide variety, I'm not sure if they sell everything.

There are many beautifully bottled spirits, so those who are interested would probably enjoy it. Oh, by the way, there is seating available at the bar table.

 

At 29Pub, the drinks are inexpensive, but there is an entrance fee of 2,900 won per person. When you enter and take your seat, they provide sparkling wine as a welcome drink.

The delightful sweetness of the welcome drink really lifted my spirits.

Conktail: Paloma

Tequila, lime juice, agave syrup, grapefruit soda

While I don't usually enjoy long drinks, there was a cocktail with a unique name that caught my eye.
Since it featured ingredients I like, I decided to order it.

Curious about its origins, I looked it up and found that it's a famous cocktail in Mexico,
considered one of the major peaks alongside the Mojito.

As expected from tequila-loving Mexico, the flavors suited my taste as well.
The abundance of grapefruit and tequila aroma made it quite enjoyable.
 
 
Ardeog 10y
single malt scotch whisky

My friend opted for the Ardbeg 10-year old whiskey, which is renowned for its peaty characteristics.
Personally, I've always been hesitant to try peaty whiskies due to the strong smoky aroma.

Despite my reservations, my friend, who seems to have a liking for it, had it as their first choice.
As for the taste, well, unsurprisingly, it resembled a scent reminiscent of hospitals or dental offices to me.
It's quite a challenging drink for beginners.

Nevertheless, the finish left a lingering note of chocolate,
which added an interesting and memorable twist to the overall experience.
 

Margherita

The rule here is to order food for three people at a time.

 

For our appetizer, we decided on a straightforward Margherita pizza. When the food arrived, the initial impression wasn't as visually appealing, possibly because the bread seemed somewhat like sandwich bread.

But surprisingly, it was delightfully chewy and crispy.

Upon revisiting the menu, we discovered that they use focaccia bread for the pizza.

 

The interior was not at all tough, maintaining a soft texture,

while the exterior retained a distinct crispiness—a unique characteristic of this bread.

Sliced neatly and enjoyed thoroughly, the pizza, in my personal opinion, complements cocktails better than spirits.
Though my friend and I ate lightly due to fullness, the affordable snacks served as a suitable alternative to a full meal.
 

 

 

Hennessey V.S.O.P

grape brandy: Cognac

Reluctant to leave so soon, my friend and I decided to share a drink. Curious about Hennessy, I ordered it since it was reasonably priced. Just to note, the shots here are served in 45ml portions, but despite that, the prices are budget-friendly, making it convenient to order.

Served in a wine glass, just like cognac tradition, I swirled the glass to savor the aroma.
True to expectations, a rich, sweet grape fragrance filled the air. The English label following Hennessy indicates the aging period, and VSOP signifies that it has been aged for more than 4 years
 
Despite being on the milder side compared to typical single malt whiskies,
it didn't compromise on taste or aroma, making it a drink that truly appealed to my palate.
 

The color, a reddish-brown hue, added to the visual pleasure of the drink.
Enjoying the taste was a delightful experience, with the flavor being sufficiently satisfying.
The smoothness of the finish made the drinking experience even more enjoyable.
 

 

 

 
Leaving a bit behind, I also tried it On The Rocks. The alcohol aroma significantly decreased, making it smoother, but I felt that the distinctive Hennessey aroma seemed to diminish. Therefore, personally, I recommend drinking it as is, in a wine glass, without ice.

The ice used here is exceptionally transparent, isn't it? This ice, without an air layer, melts less easily, minimizing its impact on the taste of the drink. It's not common to find places that use such ice, so discovering it at a reasonably priced bar was a pleasant surprise.
 
Despite the ambiance that contrasts with its atmosphere, 29Pub is surprisingly affordable. To popularize luxury, they offer drinks at reasonable prices. The drinks are so reasonably priced that it seems like a great place to visit with friends and even order bottles.
 
That concludes my review.
